Students as Game Creators. Easing the game construction process by using a toolkit to game design

چکیده

In recent years, serious games and gamification strategies have been used in the education field seen as highly motivating for educating younger people. As regard to games, of environmental education, they emerge an innovative approach raise awareness among youths, namely by challenging students develop their own learning. When research also mentions obstacles involving explore educational contents through game design, this paper presents Gamers4Nature Toolkit, artifact developed support creation digital environmental-related with no experience design. The toolkit was 53 upper-secondary 114 undergraduate along several sessions, leading development 66 games. Findings indicate that Toolkit considered engaging creation, making it a valuable resource educators design activities.
